Welcome

Hello students and families! Welcome to the school news page for English First Peoples 12. We are so excited to have you this year. We can't wait to learn, interact, and have fun together!

Quick Overview

In EN: English First Peoples 12, we

1. Learn and teach based on the First Peoples Principles of Learning. This will include oral literature, written literature, and creative writing.

3. Explore authentic Native texts. This includes the history of Canada, First Nations, and our relationship with them.

*Prerequisites: Literary Studies 11 or Pre-AP Incentive Literary Studies 11

**This course meets the English Language Arts 12 requirement and counts as an Indigenous Focused course for graduation (4 credits).
